Kristina ParaskevaKrissy, was born and raised in North London. Krissy won a full scholarship to the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, where, in her final year, she was picked by Ben Elton to play one of the leading roles in his new musical, Tonight’s The Night. She toured the country, and at 17 she began working with William Orbit at his studio, recording backing vocals for Robbie Williams Rudebox album.
Krissy’s next role was with Blues Brothers The Musical, where she toured the world and simultaniously started work on a solo project under the name YOUTH. Krissy’s early work with American artist Young & Sick honed her sound, as they began making dark, leftfield beats to critical acclaim. Her few releases have to date accumulated well over a million plays and recieved widespread critical acclaim, most notably from Monki, B.Traits & Pete Tong at Radio 1.
2016 is a busy year; A single with Atlas on the prestigious Warp Records, a recent signing to Ultra, 3 tracks with Hervè on Fatboy Slim’s Skint/BMG, an imminent second EP and Music festivals throughout the summer.
Krissy has worked with Asos, Mastercard, Jagermeister and performed for Vogue in Dubai. Krissy’s music has featured on BBC Radio1, BBC 1Xtra, 6Music, XFM, Capital FM and Australia’s TripleJ. Recent work with both Kilter & Paces saw TripleJ host an Australian tour.
