Ben Morris

Ben is from Dublin and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London.

His West End debut was in the 2007 revival of Fiddler on the Roof at The Savoy Theatre as understudy Motel and Perchik. Since then his credits include Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar with The RTE Concert Orchestra (National Concert Hall, Dublin), Tribe and cover Claude/Berger in HAiR (Deutsches Theatre Munich) and on the European Arena Tour, Listen to my Heart (Smock Alley Theatre), The Shadow of the Glen (The Union Theatre, London) and Oh What a Lovely War (Bruiser Theatre Company, Irish Tour).

In 2010, Ben was the winner of RTE’s reality TV series FAME the Musical and he went on to play the role of Nick on the subsequent National Tour. Ben recently returned to the West End in The Phantom of The Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre) where he covered and played Piangi. He has starred in pantomimes at the Cork Opera House and the Gaiety Theatre Dublin.
Workshops include: Sleeping Beauty the Musical (Saddlers Wells), The Promise and His Story (King’s Theatre, Portsmouth).

Films include Delphine, Divestment and Detained. In television, Ben is the male backing vocalist with the house band on The Voice of Ireland for RTE & Screentime Shinawil. He works regularly as a voiceover artist and a session singer. He played Servant Seymour in The Tudors on BBC and CBC and most recently Martin in a commercial for Meteor on Irish television.

Ben is the co-host and co-creator of the UK’s most popular theatre podcast ‘Inside The West End’.
